HIs Viking FM mid-morning show was the most listened to show on the station. And whilst at Yorkshire Coast Radio, the station enjoyed the highest % Reach of any radio station in England. 'Paddy In The Morning' was also the most listened to breakfast show in the station's history.

Paddy prides himself on super-serving the area he broadcasts to. That's easy now as he broadcasts to his beloved home area, but he's always made 'being truly local' a priority, getting out at every opportunity and has raised tens of thousands of pounds for local charities in the process.

Paddy has hosted a variety of radio shows including an all-talk sport show featuring 'around the grounds' reports, phone ins, specialist music shows, a national network show (26 stations) and worked on a mixture of newer-music stations and 'oldies' stations, hosting Breakfast, Mids, Drive, Evenings, Lates and Overnights.

Being football-mad, Paddy has done stadium announcing and football commentary & live match reporting. His latest is commentating on his beloved Scarborough on Yorkshire Coast Radio Extra. This has included full 90-minute commentary without a pundit!
Reporting...
Paddy has often reported live at big breaking news stories including floods and fires. This includes live on air updates and photos and videos on social media. Some videos have reached vast numbers of people including the 'foam phenomenon' video which was seen by 1.3 million people! Another Storm Surge video was seen by over 2 million.
Event Host...
Paddy has hosted dozens of events during his radio career including Race For Life, Scarborough Open Air Theatre concerts to crowds of 8,000, Christmas light switch on events, Goldwing Light Parade, Clipper Round The World Yacht Race, Freedom Festival and more.
